The Town of Manitowoc Rapids, Manitowoc County, is located west, northwest of the City of Manitowoc. The Town is home to the Pine Crest Historical Society, The Golf Course at Branch River, Silver Lake Park and many eating establishments.

Part-time help is needed at the Town of Manitowoc Rapids Recycling Center. Hours are alternating Saturdays, 8am-1pm. Must be at least 18 years old and able to assist residents with lifting items.

Paper applications will be available at the Recycling Center.

You may drop off your completed application in the mail slot outside the Town Hall door or mail it to:

Revaluation Notice

Town of Manitowoc Rapids, Manitowoc County


A revaluation of property assessments in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids shall occur for the 2022 assessment year. Revaluation notices are expected to be sent to property owners in the fall of 2022. Please also notice that the Assessor has certain statutory authority to enter land as described in Wis. Stat. §943.13 and §943.15.


The ability to enter land is subject to several qualifications and limitations, as described in the statutes. Copies of the applicable statues can be obtained at public depositories throughout the State of Wisconsin and from the State of Wisconsin Legislative Reference Bureau website:, or a copy may be obtained from the municipal clerk upon payment of applicable copying charges.
